About Camp Kellogg

We are excited to be offering our premier year of summer camp at Alaska Pacific University’s Kellogg Campus in Palmer this summer! We have five weeks of adventure, art, food, movement, and nature camps planned with various options for all ages.  Enroll in one week or for all five.  We’re eager to welcome you into our outdoor program of exploration, discovery, and play!

Session Themes & Values:

Each week at Camp Kellogg we will be focusing on a new theme that highlights a different value we’re striving to instill in our campers!  We have aligned our Camp Kellogg values with those of our parent organization, Alaska Pacific University.

RESPECT – We honor the uniqueness of others and show reverence for the land we live and play on.

RELEVANCE – We observe that there is a connection to be found between every living thing.

RESPONSIBILITY – We build a stronger community by sharing the work that needs to be done and showing care to others.

RECIPROCITY– We strive for a balance of give and take for the benefit of all; we share because we care.

WISDOM – We show up with an openness to continual learning from others and the world around us, every day.

Leader in Training:

Looking to bridge the gap from camper to instructor? This summer we are offering Leaders-In-Training (LIT) programs every week. Students ages 14-17 will be able to come to Camp Kellogg and experience the best of both worlds. LIT’s will spend part of their day shadowing and supporting instructors and the other part integrating their learning of how to be a leader, while building a community of adventure seeking and nature loving teens.
